We are looking for General medicine specialists for Ryd primary care center in Linköping.
At our primary care centers we work in multi-professional teams to provide the best healthcare for our patients.By having a close collaboration between different professions we can give high quality care and at the same time contribute with skills development for all employees.
Working as a General practitioner in Sweden requires a knowledge of diagnostics and treatment of health problem in all ages. Training and supervision of medical students at all education levels, from undergraduate to specialist training and with students in other health care professions is an important task for our senior specialist. Swedish primary health care applies knowledge-based care, which requires continuous ability development, where methods shown to be less effective are replaced with better ones.
An important part of the general medicine specialist´s work is systematic quality development and selftraining based on their operations requirements.

You have a positive attitude, a good cooperative ability and can handle different situations in a constructive way. You enjoy working in teams with different professions and are good at communication with patients, colleagues and other clinics and functions.
Before moving to Sweden you need to reach a certain level in the Swedish language and have your medical training recognized by the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare https://legitimation.socialstyrelsen.se/en/licence-application/.
The employment will start with a trial period, combined with further language studies. If the trial period will be proved satisfactory and you demonstrate required skills recognized by the County Council of Östergötland, it will automatically turn into a permanent employment.
All contracts follow local and national collective agreements. Salary is set individually depending on your qualification and experience.
You will receive continuous information and support from the International Office in Region Östergötland, regarding relocation, establishment and language education.
