The Medical Specialist Clinic  at the hospital in Motala conducts a broad internal medicine practice with an emergency department, medical wards with 55 beds, several outpatient clinics and specialized home healthcare. We have the advantages of the smaller hospital with a friendly and family atmosphere, short decision-making processes and a great willingness to develop our working methods and personal skills.

Job description

We are looking for specialists in internal medicine to join our team of colleagues. We are today about 35 doctors with specializations in different subspecialities where we collaborate in teams with other professions.

We offer you a varied and stimulating job that includes outpatient clinic, hospital on call to the emergency department and medical rounds at the ward. Medical quality is high on the agenda, we have focus on continues development and we supervise students, younger colleagues and other occupational groups. You also participate in the clinics on call activities, both hospital on call and on call from home. 

Requirements

Registered medical license within the EU/EEA
Registered license as an internal medicine specialist
Basic computer skills
English and Swedish language skills

Personal characteristics

You should have a positive attitude, a good cooperative ability and can handle different situations in a constructive way. You should enjoy working in teams with different professions.

Terms of employment

Before moving to Sweden you need to reach a certain level in the Swedish language and have your medical training recognized by the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare https://legitimation.socialstyrelsen.se/en/licence-application/.

The employment will start with a trial period, combined with further language studies. If the trial period will be proved satisfactory and you demonstrate required skills recognized by the County Council of Östergötland, it will automatically turn into a permanent employment.

All contracts follow local and national collective agreements. Salary is set individually depending on your qualification and experience.
